Centenary State High School has a dedicated team of professionals providing diverse support services to our students.
Homework Hub – a support program currently runs for Years 7 to 9 students. Students meet at the Resource Centre every Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00pm to 4:00pm to seek support from school teaching staff who volunteer their time to assist students. Teachers support students with subject understandings, homework and with assignment preparation. Students also enjoy the chance to work together with their peers in informal study groups. Homework Hub does not run on the first nor last Monday of term.
DIAL (Drop In and Learn) - a lunch time program available in both AM and PM breaks, on all school days. Held in HE01, it is manned by staff to assist all students with any outstanding school work, homework, tutoring, assessments. It is also a quiet place where students can enjoy a chill-out zone.
Learning Assistance – our Learning Assistance programs are devised early each year to meet the needs of our new students. We work closely with our local primary schools to gain information related to the learning progress of our future students.
