Our Team

International student coordinators (L-R) Mr Adam Richter and Mrs Sallyann Griffith with Principal Mr John Brew

International student coordinators

Our international student coordinators, Mr Adam Richter, Mrs Sallyann Griffith and Mrs Vicki Spicer, work with our students to monitor their academic progress (including appropriate subject choices) and their welfare. They are available 5 days a week at school and by phone on weekends.

International homestay coordinator

Ms Maria Chadburn also works closely with homestay families and our students as our homestay coordinator. She introduces students to Australian culture and school life through our orientation programs and works closely with students throughout their time at Centenary SHS, at a personal level as well as at a school/student level.

EAL/D Teacher / EAL/D Support

Our EAL/D teacher works with our international students to assist their transition to full-time studies in English.  She liaises with subject teachers and can also provide support for assignment work.

Guidance officer

Guidance officers, in Australian schools, provide both study program and career advice, and offer personal welfare support. Our Guidance officer and international student coordinator will work together to assist students to plan their initial course selection and their pathway from high school to tertiary education.
