2. Students who reside within catchment

 
Students who attend a local State Primary School

Any student whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area is, subject to the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006, eligible for enrolment at the school.  The School Principal will hold places for students who relocate to within the catchment area throughout the school year. Students who reside within these suburbs have automatic enrolment eligibility if they attend one of our local State Primary Schools: Jamboree Heights State School, Middle Park State School, Jindalee State School and Darra State School. 

Documentation required for enrolment:

  •     2018 Enrolment Application
  •     Birth certificate or Passport  
  •     2 current school reports/NAPLAN results
  •     Proof of residential address (rates, phone bill, etc.)

Students who live in the Centenary SHS Catchment area and attend other schools

For potential students who reside within the catchment area, but attend schools other than the local State Primary Schools, the enrolment process is automatic but an interview is required. 

Documentation required for enrolment:

  •     2018 Enrolment Application
  •     Birth certificate or Passport  
  •     2 current school reports/NAPLAN results
  •     Proof of residential address (rates, phone bill, etc.)

Proof of Residency

Current proof of residency at the address indicated can be provided by way of one of each of the following:

•    One primary source - a current lease agreement, unconditional sale agreement
                                                               OR
•    One secondary source - a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) or rates notice showing this same address and parent/carer's name.

Enrolment Interviews

Interviews can be booked through the school office on (07) 3373 4555, during business hours.  The interview will be about 20 - 30 minutes duration, is student focused, and aimed at sharing information so that the school can best cater for the needs of your student.
