4th Annual Science Showcase Extravaganza

Fireworks start at 7:30pm
​Centenary State High School will be hosting its 4th Annual Science Showcase Extravaganza on the evening of Thursday, August 18, 2016. This is a culminating event of a range of activities during National Science Week.

The objective of the Science Showcase Extravaganza is to promote Science in our community through a range of presentations and activities. Students and their parents/carers from the neighbouring primary schools, the wider school community and special guests are invited to the event at our student activity centre.

The Extravaganza extends from 5:30pm – 8:00pm. The program will include presentations by past and present students, static and interactive science activities and will showcase students' involvement in science within and beyond the school science curriculum.

The program will culminate in a fireworks display starting at 7:30pm to demonstrate the use of chemistry for entertainment.  The Extravaganza will finish by 8:00pm.
